In 1983, it was decided to buy out the shareholding of the Coulson interests. This was achieved and the firm became Clarke Customs Pty Ltd.
With the retirement of Geoff and George Clarke in 1986 – being the last of the Clarke family involved in the business – a new ownership was formed from the existing management team at the time. New key staff also brought further expertise and business development skills resulting in the re-establishment of Exports and a new International Freight Forwarding Division in 1992.
Also in 1992, the company moved from the Mary Street premises to an office/warehouse in Burnley Street and then in 1994 to office premises at 591 Bridge Road, Richmond. With the growth of the business, staff numbers and office requirements, it became necessary to seek larger premises, so in 2003, the firm purchased new offices at 37 Pine Street, Hawthorn.
To reflect the company’s expansion in international logistics, a new name was decided upon in 2010 – Transvoras Logistics.
In 2017, Transvoras Logistics celebrated 100 years of history and progress in the customs broking, freight forwarding, warehousing and logistics industry. The company was also conferred ongoing Australian Trusted Trader status by the Australian Government’s Department of Immigration and Border Protection, recognising the company as an international trading business with a secure supply chain and compliant trade practices.
Transvoras Logistics now provides tailored logistics solutions to their client’s requirements, that incorporate the entire supply chain, utilising a vast network of reputable international agents.
